Note A range of glass specifications are offered to allow an optimum cost effective choice to be made by the process designer for specific applications.  In circumstances where commercial factors or on going process requirements dictate that future access for inspection and maintenance will be impractical, the process designer should consult with the end user and consider whether cathodic protection should be specified.
